Tom Ontiverosis a Lighting Designer and Photographer. Designs include: The Tyrant (Paul Dresher Ensemble); The Exonerated (Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Outer Critics Circle Awards for Most Unique Theatrical Experience ), Women Center Stage Festival, Miss Julie (The Culture Project); Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music 2003-2005 (Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium); My Old Lady, Visions of Kerouac, Indiscretions, Candida (Marin Theatre Company); First Love, Schrodinger's Girlfriend (Dean Goodman Award), Summertime (The Magic Theatre); The Skriker (Columbia University), A Dance Party (Joyce SOHO); Contagion, Funny House of a Negro (Dean Goodman Award), The Language of Angels, What I Want, Pieces of the Quilt, Dr. Faustus Lights the Lights (Intersection); Tattoo Girl (Sledgehammer Theatre); Chaos Theory, Intervista (ODC); Crossfertilizations, Summer Beat Dance Series (La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art). Collaborations with the Strangfruit Theatre Ensemble include Veils, Vestiges and the Aesthetics of Hidden things (Ontological-Hysteric Theatre), Sewing Lessons and The Heat Death of the Universe (Noh Space). In the Fall of 2003, Tom was an Instructor and Production Designer for the Theatre Department at East Stroudsburg University. Tom is currently an MFA candidate at UC San Diego. Tom has toured internationally as Lighting Director for the Paul Dresher Ensemble with Rinde Eckert as well as Bill "Crutchmaster" Shannon.
